Prayer for the Odessa area continued after the Midland Basin Chapter was chartered. Then in August 2021, a group of believers concerned for children’s spiritual needs met at Odessa Bible Church and soon the Permian Basin Chapter was born! That November, the first Good News Club started at Ireland Elementary School.

Receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in May 2016 marked a life-changing beginning. Since that time, life has been continually shaped by God’s grace, mercy, and faithful guidance. Originally from Mission, Texas, God has blessed my life through marriage, a beautiful, blended family of nine, and four precious grandchildren. For the past five years, Odessa has become our home, and I am deeply thankful for the community where God has planted our family and continues to grow us in faith.
Each day is guided by a prayer to walk closely with the Lord, trust Him fully, and serve Him with a humble and thankful heart. God has graciously opened the door for me to be part of Child Evangelism Fellowship, where I have the privilege of sharing the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with boys and girls and helping disciple them in the truth of God’s Word. This calling is one I hold with great humility and joy.
My passion for ministry flows from gratitude for what Christ has done in my own life. It is my heartfelt desire to be faithful to His calling and to see children come to know the hope, love, and transforming power found only in Jesus Christ.
