Red River Chapter
CEF’s outreach to children in the Red River area began in the 1950s and 60s when Mrs. June Moller had a burden to reach children in the Wichita Falls area with the gospel. She and her husband, Herb, opened their home to CEF teacher trainers from Kansas (Mrs. Stella Fisher and Miss Mabel DeNormandy) who traveled faithfully to Texas to train and equip others to teach Good News Clubs during the school year and backyard Bible clubs in the summer. It was not until the fall of 2005 that a group of people began to organize a Child Evangelism Fellowship chapter. The Red River Chapter was chartered in May 2006.
The Chapter has an office in Lamar Baptist Church on Harrison Street in Wichita Falls. Staff members include:

CEF partners with churches to reach children with the Gospel. We are thankful for each church partner and the wonderful volunteers who help us fulfill CEF’s mission in eleven counties in the Red River area. Today, the Red River Chapter reaches many schools in Wichita Falls through Good News Clubs and Party Clubs, yet there is still much work to do in the surrounding areas!
