Red River Chapter
Special May Campaign!
We want you to know about a special fund at the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation in memory of June Moller. In the 1950s and 60s, she worked with others to start CEF Bible clubs for boys & girls. She had a deep concern for the spiritual needs of children.
We hope to raise $10,000 in May for the Memorial Fund, which supports training for those who serve with CEF to reach more children with the good news of Jesus Christ.
If you want to give to this fund and help us reach the goal, online giving information is below. Or send a check to Red River CEF, P.O. Box 3494, Wichita Falls, TX 76301.
Our chapter is committed to taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to boys and girls throughout the 11 counties in our area.

CEF® outreach to children in the Red River area began in the 1950s and 60s when Mrs. June Moller had a burden to reach children in the Wichita Falls area with the Gospel. She and her husband, Herb, opened their home to CEF teacher trainers from Kansas who would come and equip others to teach Good News Clubs and backyard Bible clubs in the summer. It wasn't until the fall of 2005 when a group of people organized to start a Child Evangelism Fellowship chapter. The Red River Chapter was chartered
in May 2006.
Our chapter is committed to taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to boys and girls throughout the 11 counties in our area. From 2005-2016 almost 9,000 children have been reached through our after-school Good News Clubs, 5-Day Clubs, and Christmas parties.
We work with local churches to reach the children and look forward to developing partnerships with churches all over the Red River area.
It is a blessing to seeing the body of Christ in action, teaching the children from God's Word and leading them to the Savior!
Will you join us?

Red River Staff
I was born and raised in the Wichita Falls area and have lived here my entire life.
I have been married to my husband, Roscoe, since July 1997. He is truly my closest friend in this crazy world and my partner in all that life has to offer.
We have two teenage children- a son, Noah, and a daughter, Rachel. Our oldest son, Samuel, celebrated his “Heaven Day” in December 2005. I have been blessed to see all three of my children come to the Lord in faith and accept the gift of His salvation. What a wonderful gift I have to treasure in my heart!
Our family attends Central Baptist Church in Burkburnett.
I have served in Children’s ministry in various capacities for many years. I love seeing children discover the truth of Jesus and His love for all people. I am thrilled to work with Child Evangelism Fellowship.
I can think of no greater privilege than helping spread the gospel and sharing the Word of God with boys and girls in the Red River area and throughout the entire world!
" For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."
My name is Steven Marsh, and I serve as the Field Missionary for the Red River Chapter. After earning a BAR degree at Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary, I served on a church staff for 6 years. As children’s associate director I began a Good News Club. Through research, I found that CEF ministry would give me a way to take children’s ministry outside the walls of the church.
I joined the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship of West Texas in November 2015. In the spring of 2016 I attended and received a Children's Ministries Institute Diploma.
I joined the staff of Red River Chapter in September of 2018.
“and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
- 2 Timothy 2:2
I am married to Rob Bellew, we have 2 children; son Stan and daughter Larissa who both work for the Department of Defense. We have 4 grandchildren. Grandsons Austin, a student at MSU and Hayden, a 7th grader. Granddaughters Gwendolyn who attends Baylor University and Caitlyn a High School Freshman. I have joy and peace in my heart as a parent to know that all of our children walk with the Lord and have put their trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
We are retired military and have made our home Wichita Falls since 1993. I retired from the Federal Government in 2016 after 35 years of service. We attend First Baptist of Wichita Falls.
Serving the Lord, learning more and more about Him and loving others is my greatest joy aside from spending time with my precious family.
I am excited and humbled to be a supporting part and team member of the Red River Child Evangelism Fellowship. I have witnessed in a personal way, lives that have been touched and changed because of this ministry. I hope anyone who is seeking to help share the gospel of Christ will consider volunteering with us, or supporting our ministry. Time and resources could not be placed upon a more urgent need in our world today.
Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. Proverbs 30:5
